How Snikus works
Every point on Snikus traces back to something real — an update, a like, a teammate who actually showed up. Here's the plain-language version — we keep the exact math under the hood so it can't be gamed.
Your feed
"For You" is built around what's actually relevant to you — posts from people who share your interests or are building in your world tend to surface first. On top of that, genuine engagement matters: likes and thoughtful replies push a post up, and newer updates get a natural head start over older ones. Posts that are clearly resonating with the community get a bit of extra visibility, so a good update can travel further than just your own followers.

Shown on Rankings and on every startup's page. It's built to reward substance over appearances:

Fake engagement doesn't count — likes and follows from accounts caught vote-farming (fresh, blank-profile accounts acting within minutes of signup) are automatically excluded and don't add any points.
Founder levels
Your founder score — everything your startups earn, plus bonus XP from quests — maps onto a level. Early levels move quickly to get you started; each level after that asks for real, sustained growth, so reaching the top is a months-long climb, not a weekend sprint.
Community score (before you've founded a startup)
Haven't founded a startup yet? Your profile shows a community score instead, built entirely from genuine participation — the likes and replies your posts get, and the thoughtful comments you leave on others'.

Verified accounts get a 5% boost on top, same as founders — and this score carries straight over into founder score the moment you launch a startup, so nothing you've built here is wasted.
Investor quests
Investors aren't ranked against each other — there's no investor leaderboard, since scouting deal flow isn't a competition. What you do earn is XP toward your level, from three genuinely different actions each week (not the same task repeated at bigger numbers):
Quests & events
You always have a few active quests running. Finish one and it's replaced by a slightly harder one, so the set naturally ramps up as the week goes on. Monthly quests work the same way but over a longer arc — they run the whole month and pay out more the further you get, rewarding people who stick with it rather than a single burst of activity.
Badges
Earned automatically the moment you cross a milestone — you'll get a notification the instant one unlocks. Some are quick wins for getting started; others take months of real activity to reach.

Moderation — how reports actually work
A handful of reports temporarily reduces a post's reach while it's looked at — content always stays up during this stage. If enough reports come in, Sniko reviews the content directly against community guidelines: a confirmed violation gets removed and the owner is notified; content found clean has its reports cleared with no penalty at all.
